Nintendo has confirmed some disappointing news about ANIMAL CROSSING: New Horizons . On November 5, the fans will receive the greatest subsequent update to the launch of the game so far, the 2.0 update, which will be accompanied by Happy Home Paradise, the first premium downloadable premium content of the game. All these are good news for animals fans, less those with empty wallets who can not afford the DLC or the new Expansion of Nintendo Switch online that comes with it. So, where do the disappointing news come into play? Well, it is what comes after this great update and DLC payment which will disappoint the 33 million players of the game.
According to Nintendo, this will be the last important update of the game and there will be no more DLC. Rather, Nintendo plans to support the game with only small and minor updates after November 5. In other words, the game support is more or less coming to an end.
Unfortunately, Nintendo does not specify how this support will be seen, but it seems that it is the same as it is happening with Super Smash Bros. Ultimat E after the release of Sora. For ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS, This support at the end of its useful life probably consists of error corrections and, at best, small pieces of new content here and there. That said, for now, this is just a speculation. All we know is that nothing is important after 2.0 and happy home paradise.
As always, we will make sure to update the story when providing more details, but if Nintendo was going to provide more clarifications, it probably would have done so. In other words, do not wait for updates.
ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS is available through Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch Lite and Nintendo Switch OLED. For more information about the game and everything related to Nintendo, including the latest news, rumors and filtrations, click here.
