Everspace 2: No Game-Preview on Xbox

Xbox Game Pass is a Microsoft subscription service for use with its Xbox One game console. Described as the Netflix for video games , the Xbox Game Pass allows players to have access to a game catalog of different publishers for a single monthly subscription price. The service was launched on June 1, 2017, while subscribers at Xbox Live Gold obtained priority access on May 24. At the E3 2019, Microsoft announces the arrival of the Xbox Game Pass on PC, initially in beta and in the Ultimate version. The service accounts for 27 January 2021 more than 18 million subscribers.

Today, Everspace 2 was announced as a Game Preview for the Xbox Game Pass on PC. The game preview of the Open World Space Game is therefore available from 21 October.

The complete release of EVERSPACE 2 will then take place at the earliest 2023 on PC and console.

And as long as Xbox players have to be patient before they can explore space themselves.

On demand from World Space to a possible game preview on the Xbox, developer Rockfish Games said that you have no plans for it.

Placing the game before completion on the Xbox would mean a significant delay of the whole project, it says in a tweet. There would also be additional costs that would not be insignificant and it could mean that content would have to be removed.

You would like to bring pilots to console at an early stage, but from experience with its predecessor you know how difficult that would be.

Sorry, No Plans for Xbox Game Preview.

Porting to Console Before The Game is Complete Toold Significantly Delay The Entire Project, Add Substantial Dev Cost, And / Or Require Cutting Content.

We d Love to Bring On Console Pilots Early, Too, But We Know FROM ES1 It d Be Tricky.

Xbox Game Pass: Growth loses momentum

Microsoft wants to revolutionize the game market with the Xbox Game Pass, while Sony holds off the classic sales of games apart from PlayStation NOW. But do the Japanese miss a trend? In any case, recent figures illustrate that demand for the Xbox Game Pass loses dynamics. Although Microsoft was able to record a rising number of subscribers in the financial year until 30 June 2021. But the growth remained under expectations. The company had hoped for a massive growth of 48 percent, but this goal with only 37 percent clearly missed. in the year earlier success The reason why Microsoft sets out such a high goal is, among other things, that the company was encouraged by the performance of the previous financial year. At that time, Game Pass subscriptions rose 86 percent, which was 71 percent above the target. Last but not least, the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic should have played a role. Microsoft has been trying to drive the Xbox Game Pass with discounts, advanced availability ...
