The British developer studio Splash Damage has announced up-to-date work on a new Science Fiction IP. On the official website of the studio, which was recently entrusted with development work on Gears Tactics as well as the PC versions of Gears 5 and Halo: The Master Chief Collection, it is said as follows:
We loved it to work in our 20-year history with established IPs like Wolfenstein, Gears of War and Halo, but we strive to create another own world like Brink, Outcasters or Dirty Bomb.
Only last year was Leyou the parent of Splash Damage, among other companies such as warframe developers digitally extreme, in the course of an acquisition of Chinese Gaming Giant Tencent.
Splash Damage CEO and co-founder Richard Jolly, at that time, commented on the next cooperation with Tencent:
We have always dedicated ourselves to developing team-based games that awaken friendships and build passionate communities, and we strive to work with partners who believe in this mission.
In our many talks with Tencent, it became clear that they believe not only to this mission, but will do everything to enable them and empower us to realize them.
This will be a brave new phase for our studio with an amazing selection of ambitious games that deliver exactly what it s about Splash Damage. We could not be more excited.
