Creator of God of War criticizes the difficulty of Metroid Dread

Although Metroid Dread It has been very well received so much for the specialized criticism and by fans, there are people who have not enjoyed the work of Mercurysteam at all. Among these people we have David Jaffe, Creator of God of War, who has criticized the difficulty of this new title.

Through social networks and its youtube channel , Jaffe has criticized the design of levels and the difficulty of Metroid Dread . Specifically, the developer declared that there is no kind of indicator about what you should do or where you should go, and according to him, these elements do nothing more than confuse the player .

According to Jaffe , he could only play Metroid Dread for two hours before uninstalling it due to the previously mentioned points. JAFFE also declares that Dread , along with Kena: Bridge of Spirits and Return, is one of those challenging games that only seeks to get away from their players .

Kena, Metroid, Return; All Leading The March Towards Super Challenging Games.Maybe It s Nes Generation Coming Into Their Own As Designers But I Fucking Hate This Shit. And It s Not An Age Thing; I Never Liked It.But It Wasn t So Rampant. It s Like Devs Want to Push Players Away.

As expected, the community was not very much made the comments of Jaffe . Just see the amount of dislikes that has previously shared video, and comments, to be aware of this.

Editor s note: Once again, the issue of difficulty has been subject to controversy. I do not agree on the way that Jaffe expressed about Metroid Dread, and I think more than proposing an interesting point of view, Jaffe Just seek attention with these declarations .
